New Spring Things have already started to arrive! This is Universal’s Swiss Mohair, which is a kid mohair/acrylic blend that is 600 yards per skein of soooo soooooft. Our Spring Knit Along, the Featherweight Cardigan would look great in it. Of course, it would also rock in Star Light, Classic Elite’s Silky Alpaca Lace, Berocco Ultra Alpaca Fine, your favorite sock yarn, or one of the new lightweight cottons that will be arriving in March.
The Knit Along starts Thursday, March 18th at Stitch N Bitch. Buy your yarn for this project at Stringtown between Feb. 1st and March 18th, and you can get 10% off just by showing me your pattern receipt. It’s looking like the we will be getting some winter weather tonight, but it isn’t supposed to move in until late so Stitch N Bitch will still happen 6PM-8PM, but I am going to go ahead and say now that the shop will be closed tomorrow morning. If Ft. Smith Schools are closed the shop will remain closed all day, but if they aren’t closed I will try to make it down to open around noon. You may want to call and check to make sure I’m here if you plan to come down Friday afternoon (January 29th) and the roads are still a little icy. Better yet, head on over this evening to pick up enough things to keep you busy in case we’re iced in
